These visits involve a comprehensive and collaborative approach to establish health goals, address challenges, and discover the root causes to your health concerns. We discuss your current symptoms, past and family medical history, perform exams, and gather lab information in order to put all of the pieces together and see a full picture of your health.  You will gain an understanding of the underlying causes of your health challenges and receive a personalized care plan – your roadmap to optimal health that addresses nutrition, sleep, hormone balance, physical strength and mind-body medicine.

Timeline of care is dependent on each individual. After the initial intake patients typically meet with Dr. Cerra for a check in once every 2 months.  

Functional Lab Testing

This testing is an in depth picture of your health. The labs include insight on your cardiovascular health by assessing your lipids, blood sugar regulation, genetic markers for risk of cardiovascular risks, and signs of inflammation. We assess your hormonal health looking at all your male and female hormones as well as a full thyroid hormone panel. Checking for signs of nutrient deficiencies, and looking in detail at your kidney + liver function with a comprehensive metabolic panel. Last this blood work panel includes a full assessment of your white and red blood cells investigating any red flags of acute or chronic infections as well as signs of anemia.
